Cowles Commission,
Colorado Springs
1932-1939

Excerpts, a note from James Tobin:

"Here are some pictures of the Mining Exchange Building at the main intersection in downtown Colorado Springs . . . the Cowles Commission was on the 3rd floor.   Unfortunately the facade has been altered at street level by the bank -- they always do such things! According to the information I was able to get at Colorado College, the original plan to lodge the Commission in an annex to the library was never implemented -- the annex was not built.  The `old library' has since been demolished to make room for another building. . . ."
